Why should you believe in creation, and not evolution? I mean, scientifically speaking. Haven’t we proven that evolution is a fact? When many people say “ evolution” what they really mean is the observable process known as “natural selection.” If only I had a nickel for every time someone has equivocated “evolution” and “natural selection”... So, what do I mean by this? Well, many people think that natural selection and evolution are the same thing. Even experts who should know better give this impression or even state it outright. I’ll give you an example. One of the most common “proofs” for evolution is antibiotic resistance in bacteria. Have you ever heard the claim that bacteria are evolving to become resistant to our antibiotics? Well, what’s happened is the bacterium has either lost information or gained already existing information by swapping it with another bacterium. Now let’s say scientists develop an antibiotic that binds to a certain protein in the bacterium and kills it. But one bacterium has lost the information to make that protein (probably through a mutation), so the antibiotic doesn’t kill it and it lives to reproduce. This is natural selection in action. The environment—in this case an environment with an antibiotic—has selected FOR the bacterium with the lost protein and AGAINST the others. -- Has evolution just happened? Not at all. You see, evolution is something entirely different. It’s an un-observable process by which small changes over a long period of time are supposed to change one organism into an entirely different one.

Blood Clotting - Why You Should Believe In Creation ... And Not Evolutio...

Blood clotting requires what’s called a “cascade.” This means each step is vital for the next step. You can’t skip a step in the cascade as each one is dependent on the previous step. The blood clotting cascade requires over one hundred steps! Each step must be in place the first time an animal is cut or it will slowly bleed to death. 

How did over ONE HUNDRED STEPS just happen to ALL be in place at the right time? Having half the steps is no good. The animal will bleed to death and not pass its genes along. No evolution! 

The whole system must be in place the first time it’s needed. And not only do all these steps have to be in place, but the body also needs to be able to clot the blood just right so only the cut is sealed, and not the entire blood vessel. Clots are lifesaving when they seal a wound, but deadly if they block the blood supply. And yet our body knows how to do this without us even having to give it a single thought. 

Blood clotting is a challenge for evolutionary ideas. There’s no way all of the necessary steps could’ve all evolved together at the same time. Instead of trusting in these old, outdated, and sometimes ridiculous ideas of Darwinian evolution, perhaps we should be looking towards the new research – scientific data that seems to be pointing us BACK - to Biblical accuracy. A Creator Who intelligently designed the Universe, life, AND the blood clotting mechanism. Just one more scientific reason that you shouldn’t believe in human evolution. It takes a LOT of faith.

The fact is, we are descending genetically as the scriptures teach, not ascending upward biologically, as evolution incorrectly teaches. A major theory of the source of phenotype variations for natural selection to select from is macro-mutations. The empirical evidence, however, is clear—neither macro-mutations nor micro-mutations can provide a significant source of new genetic information: The fact is Mutation accumulation does not lead to new species or even to new organs or tissues. What mutations eventually lead to is sickness and death because the vast majority of mutations, over 99.99%, are near neutral or harmful. In each new generation of humans an estimated 100 to 200 new mutations are added to the human gene line. Thus 100 to 200 new mutations are added to the offspring compared to the parents. Both creationists and Intelligent Design advocates conclude that the only plausible source of genetic information is intelligence. Intelligent Design only postulates an intelligent source, and creationists conclude the source is an Intelligent Creator we call God.
