Passover and the Importance of Counting to 3

Passover is a significant holiday in Israelite culture, commemorating the liberation of the Israelites from slavery in Egypt. The holiday lasts for seven or eight days and begins with a ritual meal known as the Seder. During the Seder, the story of the Exodus is retold through the reading of the Haggadah.

One intriguing aspect of the Passover story is the account of Jesus Christ's crucifixion and resurrection. According to the Bible, Jesus was crucified on the day of Passover, and his body was placed in a tomb for three days and three nights before he was resurrected. The accuracy of this timeline has been debated, with some people rejecting the entire story of Jesus' resurrection. However, by examining the historical context of the Israelite calendar and the biblical text itself, we can gain a deeper understanding of the significance of counting to three in the story of Passover and Jesus' resurrection.
