Tony challenged the cult members with one of their own foundational passages of Scripture, 2 Nephi 25:23 , which reads: “For we labor diligently to write, to persuade our children, and also our brethren, to believe in Christ, and to be reconciled to God; for we know that it is by grace that we are saved, AFTER ALL WE CAN DO” (Emphasis added). As you will see in this video, this Mormon doctrine damns Mormons to never receiving grace, as it is misunderstood by their religion.
